Business opportunities between the UK and Sweden in focus

"Healthy Britain" is a seminar and partnering session bringing together leading life science and healthcare suppliers, medical professionals and policy makers. It aims to highlight today´s technology and business opportunities, focusing particularly on the synergies between the UK and Sweden in strategic technology healthcare.

This seminar is a part of "Think Britain - The Best of Modern Britain comes to Gothenburg " a three days event, entertainment and close encounters of the British kind that will showcase the best of Britain today, in Göteborg on 14, 15 and 16 June 2010. The event will be a meeting place for business people, the scientific community, academics, public administrators and people from the world of the arts.

”There is a long historical tradition of research and business cooperation between Britain and Sweden”, says Olle Larkö, Dean at the Sahlgrenska academy at the University of Gothenburg. “The importance of strategic healthcare technology is becoming more and more evident and we are therefore very much looking forward to this event, in order to further enhance our relations and opportunities within the area.”

The seminar and partnering sessions are organised by GöteborgBIO in cooperation with IT Region West @ Business Region Göteborg, Region Västra Götaland and UK Trade & Investment.
