Målet är att belysa processerna för medicintekniska innovationer på vägen från idé till marknadsintroduktion och skapa en gemensam syn på hur vi genom samverkan kan effektivisera dessa. Dagen innefattar föreläsningar, paneldebatt och utställning.

Med hjälp av smart textil och ny teknik kan en stickad stent snart repas upp och dras ut igen efter att den stabiliserat upp ett utvidgat blodkärl. Metoden har stor potential att påverka framtida behandling och stödet från BIO-X kan göra avsevärd skillnad.
