#Connect2Capital is the forum that offers growth companies, investors and other actors in funding the ideal place to meet and connect. During the two days, 14-15th of November, #Connect2Capital provides matching and pre-booked meetings between entrepreneurs and investors and where companies that have passed our selection process can pitch on stage.

Throughout the entire event, that will be held at Clarion Post hotel in Gothenburg, we will be hosting inspiring talks, discussions and interviews. #Connect2Capital keynotes speakers discuss real-life cases, stories of social impact and success. We love personal experiences, to-the-point examples and data-backed findings. Sign up now to get a chance to listen to some of the regions most influential entrepreneurs and experts. And maybe, the most important part, pitch individually to investors at One2One meetings scheduled at several timeslots during the event.

GU Ventures is collaborating with Connect and all other partners by arranging a Life Science session as well as an Exit session, which will be lead by the CEO of GU Ventures, Klementina Österberg. 

- For the Life Science session, we will be inspired by Fredrik Röök, Transaction Director in Business Development Operations at AstraZeneca, followed by a panel discussing investment opportunities with Louise Warme (Almi Invest), Sarah Fredriksson (Aqilion), Niclas Holmberg (Nasdaq), samt Karl Xavier (Axilium Capital) and some interesting pitches by life science companies like Goozo, Kura, GPX Medical and Lindhe Xtend.

- For the Exit Session, we will be talking to several experienced entrepreneurs and investors, like Anna Ljungdahl (Industrifonden), Magnus Emilson (Visit group, Nakd), Jacob Gunterberg (Healthcap) and last but not least, Patric Nordström (Idevio/Qlik).

Whether they are trade sales, as per a private company is sold or merged with an acquirer for stocks, cash, or a combination of both; or IPO:s by issuing shares registered for public offering.

A practical and hands-on session with real, unpolished and frank advice from a mix of entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. The session starts with two short presentations. One from an entrepreneurs perspective who will share how to raise money and how to choose the right investors. The other presentation is from the investor point of view who will share some clear do’s and don’ts when fundraising for your startup. The second part of the session is an honest discussion between VCs and entrepreneurs. Through Menti, the audience will get a chance to ask all their questions.
