Stockholm School of Economics joins Graduate Management Admission Council

2011-04-19 16:31

Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) was in March invited to become a member of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). SSE joins around 25 European member schools and is the first Nordic member together with Copenhagen Business School. Other member schools include Harvard Business School, the London School of Economics & Political Science, HEC Paris and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The invitation to join GMAC recognizes SSE’s contribution to graduate management education over the years. GMAC is a non-profit organization that brings together leading business schools worldwide, offering a comprehensive array of products, services, research and programs.

GMAC is the owner and administrator of the GMAT exam, the first and only standardized test specifically designed for graduate business and management programs. Created in 1954, the test is available in almost 100 countries. It is the most widely used assessment for graduate management admissions and the most reliable predictor of academic success in graduate business studies. SSE uses the GMAT for admission to MSc and Executive MBA programs.
