Swedish eHealth exported to the Baltics

The Swedish eHealth company Health Solutions that earlier this year announced that they have expanded in the UK and in Belgium have now made a breakthrough also in the Baltics in that the decision support InfCare HIV is set up in Lithuania.

InfCare HIV, which is a decision support software based on Health Solutions technical platform RealQ, is today used in all HIV clinics in Sweden, all university hospitals in Finland, most of the clinics in Denmark as well as in individual clinics in a number of other countries. Health Solutions welcomes the University Hospital in Vilnius and Kaunas Clinical Hospital as the latest users.

- The platform RealQ is today used for many diagnoses, but InfCare HIV means a lot to us, says Joakim Söderberg, COO of Health Solutions. It was the first decision support application we built on the RealQ platform and we are strongly committed to hiv care. We have seen the benefit the application has made in health care over the years and we are excited to now be working in Lithuania and eventually in the rest of the Baltic region.

The project in the Baltics has been made possible through cooperation between the local hospitals and the healthcare company GlaxoSmithKline operating in Lithuania.
