HP Erbjuder marknadens första 900 Mbps wlan-lösning
Företag får bättre prestanda var som helst, samt omedelbar tillgång till multimedia-innehåll och moln-applikationer
Stockholm, 1 mars 2011 – idag lanserades HPs Mobile Access Solution som optimerar företagens mobila kommunikation genom trådlösa accesspunkter som kan hantera upp till 50 procent fler mobilenheter än befintlig teknik.
HP erbjuder industrins första accesspunkter som kan skicka tre dataströmmar istället för två, vilket gör att den nya HP Mobile Access-lösningen ökar användarnas prestanda och räckvidd för trådlösa nätverk. Den nya tekniken kan sända upp till 15 HD- videokonferenser samtidigt medan dess föregångare 802.11n endast gav stöd för tio och 802.11g endast en.
Byggt på HP Converged Infrastructure-strategi, fungerar HP Mobile Access-lösningen som ett sammanhållet nätverk för både kabelanslutna och trådlösa miljöer. Detta resulterar i att företag kan minska sin mängd utrustning, komplexitet och sina resurskrav över hela nätverksmiljön genom att standardisera utifrån en enda lösning som innefattar operativsystem, styrverktyg och åtkomstkontroll.
Användarna upplever försämrad nätverkskvalitet när mobilanvändningen ökar – så som användningen av smartphones, läsplattor och bärbara datorer. Samtidigt överbelastar digitalt multimediainnehåll och ”mjukvara som tjänst”-erbjudanden (SaaS) nätkapaciteten. HP Mobile Access är den första dual-radio, 3 spatial streams 802.11n-lösningen med 900 Mb/s kapacitet som tillgodoser det växande antalet trådlösa enheter och levererar den prestanda som krävs för en förbättrad användarupplevelse vid användningen av multimedia-innehåll.

The HP Mobile Access Solution delivers expanded connectivity without sacrificing throughput. Clients can access their critical applications in a mobile environment with near-Gigabit Ethernet performance that has traditionally only been associated with wired connectivity.

The HP Mobile Access Solution includes E-Series Multi Service Mobility (MSM) 430, 460 and 466 wireless access points; MSM 5.5 mobility controller software; and Mobility Manager 3.10 network management software.
— The dual radio, two-spatial-stream MSM430 has a U.S. list price of $699.
— The dual radio, three-spatial-stream MSM460 and MSM466 have a U.S. list price of $999.
The new products are available worldwide today through HP or HP authorized channel partners.
