Hök Instrument AB appoint Raimo Gester as CEO

Raimo Gester has been appointed as CEO of Hök Instrument AB. This strengthens the leadership team, with the two previous holders of this position remaining very actively involved in the company: Lasse Tenerz takes over the Chairman of the Board role allowing the founder, Bertil Hök, to focus on key research projects.

Following the enthusiastic reception that the launch of Sesame™ has attracted, a new set of challenges face the company in rolling out the existing product internationally. In parallel there are major ongoing research projects to refine the next generation of the core infrared sensor technology and to develop the ground-breaking distributed sniffing system.

Raimo Gester brings deep and broad R&D knowledge in both management and development of high quality products. His entrepreneurial skills and spirit together with the ability to build high-performance teams and developing efficient processes will help Hök Instrument to take the next steps.

Previously Raimo Gester was previously the software manager for Westermo, a global company focusing on robust industrial data communication products where he was leading the team behind WeOS, an in-house developed operating system for switches and routers running on more than 60 product variants.
