Prestigefull Chianti Classico Gran Selezione av Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli lanseras på Systembolaget den 1:a augusti

Den 1 augusti släpps toppvinet Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2012 i Systembolagets beställningssortiment. Denna Gran Selezione är Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorlis främsta Chiantivin och kommer från de bästa lägena på Mandorlis eget estate i Chianti Classico, som ligger på 400-500 meters höjd över havet.

2013 gjordes en stor förändring av Consorzio Vini Chianti Classico då man införde den nya Gran Selezione klassificeringen. Den innefattar viner som produceras från enskild vingård, eller urval av vingård, och där producentens allra bästa druvor har använts till tillverkningen. Vinet ska också ha ”excellent chemical and organoleptic characteristics”. Gran Selezione uppgår till ungefär 10 % av produktionen i Chianti Classico.

Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli Chianti Classico Gran Selezione är gjord av handplockade Sangiovese (90%), Merlot (5%) och Syrah (5%) vindruvor och gör sig perfekt till lamm-, nöt- eller viltkött.
