JOOL launches JOOL Academy – A high yield handbook

In an economy with low interest rates and expensive stock markets, high yield corporate bonds have emerged as an increasingly interesting alternative to a lot of investors. However, corporate bonds are still new to many investors in the Nordic region. This is why JOOL has created JOOL Academy, a handbook designed to provide the reader with a better understanding of corporate bonds as well as an overview of the corporate bond market.

JOOL Academy comprises several parts, whereby some of the main parts are about the terms of the bond indenture, the relationship between a bond’s price and return, and how a default affects the value of bonds. The handbook is focused on the growing high yield market and is available in English, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish. The creation of JOOL Academy is a natural progression for JOOL, as market leading arranger of Nordic SEK 30-200 m corporate bonds.
