A lot of people in both high and low places have been waiting for this since 2011 and now the time is finally here. A rock n' roll book unlike anything you've read before. Stevie Klasson's "Rock N' Roll Tales From A Crooked Highway". The book, published in English only, consist of a whole bunch of short stories lived by or told by Stevie Klasson as well as other goodies.

The book will be released January 24:th by Bullet Point Publishing and comes with Stevie Klasson's Black Weeds debut album, courtesy of Killer Cobra Records, on CD that will hit streaming services and digital stores February 5:th.

Check out the first of three trailers for the book HERE one more will show up first week in January, followed by a third second week in January.

Who's Stevie Klasson? Born on July 28 in 1968 in Södertälje, Sweden, Stevie started playing in various punk bands at the age of 13. In the summer of 1987 he made friends with Johnny Thunders who took him under his wings. That started a collaboration that lasted until Johnny's death in 1991. Stevie have toured and recorded with Diamond Dogs, Conny Bloom's Groovies Inc., Hanoi Rocks, Freddie Wadling, Spain and the list goes on. in 2007 he released “Don’t Shoot The Messenger” (Wild Kingdom) with a little help from a row of good friends like Nicke Andersson (Hellacopters), Robert ”Strängen” Dahlqvist (Hellacopters), Vigilante Carlstroem (Hives), Mattias Bärjed (Soundtrack Of Our Life), Peter Svensson (Cardigans), Chris Wilson (Flaming Groovies), Darrell Bath (Vibrators / Uk Subs), Brady Blade (Emmylou Harris) and Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols). In 2009 he started the band Black Weeds. The members of the band are not written in stone, but you see Martin Tronsson on stage a lot and Robert Eriksson behind the drums, and Boba Lee Fett is a university lecturer so he cant make it sometimes then Stevie gets in his old pal Conny Bloom or Andy McCoy to fill his shoes but thats the way he likes it. It keeps the music fresh.

This release also happens to be the last release from Killer Cobra Records who have decided to re-focus and leave the music business. C'est la vie.

The release party for the book and album will be held at Akkurat (Hornsgatan 18) in Stockholm Sunday January 24:th, doors open 19:00 and a good piece of advice is to be there early.
