JYSK and DHL team up to optimize Supply Chain success

A five year contract has been made final between JYSK Nordic and DHL International Supply Chain. The agreement includes a clause that DHL will manage the inbound flow of supply chain requests with an integrated supply chain solution, which includes vendor booking and purchase order management services.

This decision by JYSK shows that they are willing and acting to develop a digital structure in order to better manage their supply chain optimization. Working within collaboration with a competent logistics organization such as DHL is a wise choice for JYSK Nordic, and it could prove a competitive edge in the next five years of the binding agreement.

For a company that has more than 2,500 store locations in 48 countries, JYSK’s demand for traceability and transparency is growing as wide as their brand. Integrating their supply chain management activities with DHL lines up with the current market trends.

Supply Chain Management’s market value is up 11% from last year and has projected a CGR that has suggested exponential growth over the next few years.

“The DHL solution has provided better control and visibility in our supply chain and brings real value to JYSK, especially through online vendor booking and the EDI connections. We see that the solution has supported our continued efforts to streamline and improve our inbound flow and look forward to continuing to grow our successful partnership with DHL,” commented Loui Andreasen, Shipping Manager JYSK Nordic (postandparcel.info 2017).
