L´Oréal Professionnel for Zadig & Voltaire AW14

Last day of Fashion Week, last show. On the agenda: Cecilia Bönström presents “Boy-Hemian Rhapsody,” the Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection she created from scratch for Zadig & Voltaire. A name that leaves no place for doubt: this winter, the Zadig & Voltaire woman will mix a boyish and an ultra-feminine style with vivacity. In short, a decidedly rock look in the tradition of the brand. On the podium, this gives a succession of khaki parkas topped with oversized fur collars, military colored leather leggings combined with chiffon tops, masculine blazers and ultra-voluminous, highly desirable false furs. Another highlight: the jackets and pants with marine sequins, not to mention the sweaters and cardigans fitted perfectly at the shoulders and much more flared at the hips. In summary, the ideal everyday wardrobe, carried off remarkably well by its creator at this evening’s event, dressed as she is in leggings, a transparent top and customized military boots.

HAIR STYLING by DAMIEN BOISSINOT“Productions, fashion shows, photo shoots... whatever the event, I always book Damien (editor’s note: Boissinot)! Because in my eyes he’s the only hairdresser capable of creating the kind of hair that I love. In other words a natural texture, wild, and above all not too clean,” says Cecilia Bönström. A hairstyle adored by the designer, which she sports daily and admits creating easily with L’Oréal Professionnel’s new Wild Stylers by Tecni.ART. Another fan of this range is the hairstylist at the helm of today’s backstage hair styling. “They can be used together, one layered on top of the other, leaving no residue, and in just 15 minutes you can create the look of the quintessential Parisian woman, always in a hurry, walking head down, her hair in her eyes!”, says Damien Boissinot with a smile. A look that can be created quickly, provided however that you use the right amount of product in the right place and in the right order! To ensure all runs smoothly, the hairstylist moves from station to station, reiterating his most valuable tips to his team. And although backstage, the hair texture looks quite plain, under the spotlight on the runway it takes on another dimension: rock, boyish, tousled, yet healthy. Just as we like it.
