Leader Island selected for prestigious accelerator program in Silicon Valley

Leader Island, the work collaboration app will settle in at the Nordic Innovation House in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley in October 2018. The other Swedish companies that are selected to the TINC program are EatIt & Perceptilabs. The companies have access to world-class mentors and are given the opportunity to meet potential customers, partners and investors.

- Leader Island and the other participants turn to a global market and the connections they will establish by being in Palo Alto will be extremely valuable said Anne Lidgard, Director of Vinnova's Silicon Valley office. Leader Island and the other startups have the ambition to scale up on a global market and will benefit greatly from being challenged and coached by the program's mentors and to experience the tough competition in Silicon Valley.

- We are very pleased that Leader Island has been elected to participate, says Christian Löfvendahl, Co-founder at Leader Island. Leader Island is a born global concept that addresses a global market and being able to expand to Silicon Valley is a dream coming true.

Twice a year, ten Nordic companies are selected to participate at the TINC accelerator program and during the fall 2018 three of these startups are Swedish. TINC Silicon Valley is an intensive accelerator program for Nordic tech startups with ambitions and potential for global scale. Since 2012, over 125 Nordic tech companies have participated in TINC Silicon Valley. Experienced mentors, advisors and investors assist in developing the skill-set necessary to attract customers, partners and investors. The goal is to provide crucial knowledge and experience to achieve higher growth – and ensure that you are prepared for the most competitive market in the world.

- The amazing environment of alumni startups like Kahoot with millions of users and world-class mentors feels extremely stimulating. Who knows, we may settle down in Silicon Valley after the program, says Sebastian Stern, Co-founder at Leader Island.
