Key reasons for our success - ​PriceLizer on CNBC’s yearly list of the worlds 20 hottest start-ups

We here at PriceLizer are honored to be featured in American news giant CNBS’s list of the 20 hottest start-ups of 2015. CNBC acknowledges both PriceLizer and RevaLizer as useful tools for consumers and merchants in the online environment, by making online shopping smarter, more enjoyable, and more profitable for both online shop owners and consumers alike.

Inspired and encouraged by this nomination, I would like to share with you some key reasons for why we are where we are today – a successful start-up with unicorn potential:

  • Creating the right product

We have spent years developing and perfecting PriceLizer. There is nobody out there quite like us – we have discovered a new and better solution to a common problem for online merchants. Up to 70% of customers abandon their carts when shopping online, and in those cases, 40% do it because of the pricing. Instead of sending them annoying emails to remind them of the products they have left behind, we offer them the option to receive an email when the prices of their items drop. This is a much better approach, because it solves the pricing problem and happens on the customer’s own terms.

  • Ability to find the right resources

One of the main reasons for our fast growth and success so far is our ability to find key people from all around the world. We look for people who have fire in their eyes, enjoy moving in a fast pace and aren’t afraid to face challenges. At PriceLizer, everyone has a passion for their work and what they do, because we let everyone focus on the kind of tasks that they love and enjoy. In this way, we ensure that everyone will deliver with their maximum capacity and never lose speed or energy.

  • Continuous coaching

Every day I coach my team members and encourage them to think out of the box. In order to grow as quickly as we have, we have had to come up with new ways of doing things. This is only possible by creating an open and innovative environment for my team. I see how they all grow out of their old thinking patterns shaped by society and school. By learning that there are alternatives, we increase creativity as well as happiness.

  • Constant development

We continually improve and develop our products, but our mission is always to increase customer satisfaction. Soon we will also be launching our mobile app, where we introduce our newest technology wishtracking that will create new opportunities for both consumers and e-merchants. In the app, consumers will have new ways of finding the items they want at a price that suits them, and also share this information with their friends in a whole new way.

By always staying true to our mission and our values, as well as having a strong belief in our product and our people, PriceLizer has managed to gain attention and grow fast.
