Stockholm College working in Africa supports Women4Women initiative in Nigeria.

  • The business idea is own and run by women; it is unique and will attract a lot of attention for supports both from private sector and the government.
  • It is the first  Buss enterprise that will be solely run and administered by women.
  • Women4women is different and unique because it will be the first ever exclusively for women.

Lilian Chinwekene  from Net Educational Advancement Initiative in Nigeria took the initiative.

Background:
Africas most populous nation Nigeria with population of about 150 million had in 2011 gross domestic product 8.4 percent.  
This economical growth affects transportation and gives opportunities for new businesses like Women4Women Buses.

  • The government of Nigeria launched a 35% affirmative action for women empowerment in the country; by this affirmative indication, women are expected to be prominent in every facet of the system be it politics, business and more.
  • Women are safe drivers and female customers avoid sexual harassment while travelling, is added values for our clients.

Bus transportation with different buses for different clients and fees is a big business in Nigeria.
The trademark busses Women4Women will be the first for female clients.
Creation of Women4Women Buses creates a new brand in transportation with jobs for women as  owners , drivers, mechanics for maintenance and as role models.
The target customer will be women and their children.
