Klipster takes a leap forward through personalisation & new features

MTGx and Metro Sweden have relaunched Klipster, with a strong focus on an improved user experience and personalisation. Klipster now offers the more than 250,000 people who have downloaded the app a simplified user interface with improved navigation and the ability to follow their favourite brands and categories to stay ahead of exciting offers.

The update also brings push notifications, and the ability for people to share offers directly with their Facebook friends. Users can also connect Klipster to their Facebook account, for an even better experience. The new interface and functionality will make it easier than ever before for Klipster’s users to find great deals from both their favourite independent businesses and leading consumer brands.

“Our strategy as a digital accelerator is to constantly strive to improve the experience for our users, in order to take our services to the next level”, said Rikard Steiber, Chief Digital Officer of Modern Times Group and CEO of MTGx. “Klipster is an important part of our work in realising the potential in digital advertising solutions, and it has already proven popular with Swedish users”.

“The fact that we have over 250,000 downloads proves that consumers find Klipster useful, simple and effective. The new features we are introducing will improve the user experience dramatically, making Klipster the natural place to go for people who are looking for great local deals”, added Arjan Kuil, Head of Development at Klipster. “As we get ready to celebrate Klipster’s first anniversary in December, we look forward to bringing our customers more great deals from a larger number of brands and businesses than ever before”.
