MTGx hires Chief Financial Officer and Venture Manager

MTGx, the digital accelerator of leading international entertainment group Modern Times Group, today announced that Peter Messner has joined the company as CFO and Erik Kahlin as Venture Manager

Peter Messner has joined MTGx as CFO. Peter contributes a wealth of international experience from online businesses, particularly from online gaming. Most recently, he was Director of Corporate Development and Acting Finance Director of Ongame Services in Stockholm. Peter holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Vienna as well as a PhD in Social and Economic Sciences from the University of Vienna.

Erik Kahlin has joined as Venture Manager. Erik has a long experience from working with online companies, both operationally at Schibsted-owned classified marketplace Blocket as well as from the investor side as Investment Manager at Investment AB Kinnevik, where he managed a portfolio of online consumer-oriented companies. Erik holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.
