New Viaplay CEO
Viaplay, the leading streaming service in the Nordic, announced today that Jonas Karlén will start as CEO on August 18. Jonas has been with MTG for 7 years, and is currently serving as CEO Viasat Sweden and COO MTG Pay TV Nordic.
Jonas Karlén has been appointed CEO Viaplay. Jonas has held several key positions within MTG, such as CRM manager Viasat Sweden and CEO Viasat Sweden, since 2011 and COO Pay TV Nordic, since 2013. Jonas will start as CEO Viaplay on August 18 and replace Rikard Steiber, who will continue in his role as CEO MTGx and Chief Digital Officer, MTG.
Jonas has a proven track record of operational excellence, and long-term experience of the entertainment and video on demand industry.
