Nordcloud opens a new office in Gothenburg

Leading cloud transformer Nordcloud opens a new office in Gothenburg. Building the new team in the 5th largest city in the Nordic is part of the company’s plan to double the number of its cloud experts in the next 18 months.

Nordcloud opens its 3rd Swedish office in Gothenburg, complementing the two existing units in Stockholm and Malmö. The Gothenburg team is to employ 8-10 AWS and Azure architects by 2020 to help Swedish companies accelerate their digital transformation.

Gothenburg is known for its large and rapidly evolving manufacturing industry, which provides the leading cloud solution provider with many exciting opportunities.

“We are already working with some of the biggest companies in Sweden, but by establishing presence in Gothenburg we are ready to acquire more larger accounts. The heavy manufacturing industry in the city is definitely a fascinating market for us”, says Hans Christoffersson, Azure Team Lead of Nordcloud Sweden.

Altogether Nordcloud plans to recruit over 500 additional cloud experts to its European teams over the next 18 months. At the moment Nordcloud employs more than 400 experts across 10 countries. Over the past 3 years the company’s organic growth rate has been over 500%, with current revenue run-rate of over €60 million. In February 2019, Nordcloud received €20 million in funding to fuel its international expansion and portfolio development.
