​Move On - slender stool for Offecct by Mattias Stenberg.

Stockholm based architect and designer Mattias Stenberg continues his collaboration with Offecct. Following the success of Carry On, a soft stool in different colors featuring a carrying handle, and the On Point table incorporating the possibility to carry a foliage, it is now time for the Move On stool.

– The ambition of our work was initially to create an informal “creative hub” with a lower seat height that allows you to relax and lean forward over the table – and brings your colleagues closer, both figuratively and literally, says Mattias Stenberg.

Together with Offecct, he has now developed the Move On stool in two heights.

– Move On high and low, are two discreet, mobile stools that do not obstruct the room – and have broader applications than only being associated with On Point. For example, at a bar, or other similar informal meeting places, says Mattias Stenberg.

The light and durable design of Move On makes it easy to assemble and disassemble the seat frame, made in recyclable aluminium. The stool is another example of the Lifecircle philosophy than runs through the Offecct development team.

Bio Mattias Stenberg

Mattias Stenberg, born 1975, is a Swedish designer with a degree from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In 2010 he founded his studio Vision A&D that focuses on contemporary architecture and design. Stenberg's design philosophy stands on three pillars: clarity in concept, form and material. Stenberg's architectural work affects the way he works with furniture and lighting, and he himself describes his furniture as “mini architecture.”
