Outpost24 UK announces ITogether as Partner in new Channel Programme

London, 10 May 2012 – Outpost24 UK, the vulnerability management provider, today announced that network and security specialist ITogether has joined its new channel partner programme, the Channel Advantage Programme. Outpost24 UK’s four-tiered partner programme has been created to help Outpost24 build on its presence in the United Kingdom. ITogether has joined the programme as a Value Added Reseller.

ITogether works with a wide range of companies to help them work easier, smarter and more securely by offering a more human approach to IT. In order to bolster its security managed service offering, ITogether is working with Outpost24 UK to sell OUTSCAN, the on-demand cloud service from Outpost24, and HIAB, the plug and play appliance that enables organisations to assess and manage internal vulnerabilities.

ITogether has made the transition from Outpost24 UK’s previously informal channel activity to its new Channel Advantage Programme, and has since sold Outpost24 products to two of its biggest customers in the retail and the financial space. These customers purchased OUTSCAN and HIAB in order to help ensure PCI compliance – an issue that many ITogether customers are currently looking to address.

Announced last month, Outpost24 UK’s new Channel Advantage Programme has been created and launched as Outpost24 UK looks to recruit new channel partners in a bid to continue to expand its presence in the United Kingdom.  It is made up of the following four tiers:

• Resellers – ad hoc transactional level partners
• Value Added Resellers (VAR) – partners will be trained to a pre-sell and sales level to work in partnership with Outpost24, who will provide ongoing consultancy services
• Value Added Partners – partners will be trained to a pre-sell and sales level and will provide direct consultancy services to customers
• Managed Service Provider – partners will operate as a Value Added Partner, but will also embed Outpost24 within their own managed service offering
