Qamcom Group and ASTG in strategic partnership.

ASTG has signed the final agreement to acquire SatCom on the Move technology from the Qamcom Group company ReQuTech. In the transaction, ASTG will acquire all the technology, design and IP rights needed in relation to the specified solution for land-based on the Move communication, initially aimed at the commercial market.Also, ReQuTech is now one of the biggest shareholders of ASTG and will assist ASTG in all business areas as a long-term R&D partner.

The land-based SatCom technology will bring synergies and be a good complement to ASTAG’s Maritime products. For Qamcom Group and ReQuTech this opportunity means knowledge exchange and a wider commercial window. The technology value of the solution at its current stage is agreed to be 8 000 000 SEK.
