CLEANERGY - The world's leading supplier of sustainable energy based on the stirling engine will be present at the UNFCC COP22 in Marrakesh 7-18 November 2016

Cleanergy AB is the Swedish high tech company offering Stirling engine based solar energy solutions and is the proprietary owner of advanced Stirling Concentrated Solar Power knowledge and technology on a component and system level. Cleanergy can turn solar energy not only into a valuable asset for sustainable energy security and supply, but also for local job creation and industrial development.

Cleanergy AB and MASEN (Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy) will be displaying a collaborative project at the UNFCC COP22, in Marrakech, November 7^th – 18^th. The display shows the ongoing project at the Concentrated Solar Power park in Ouarzazate where Cleanergy has installed one of their Stirling Concentrated Solar Power units for testing.

Cleanergy AB will also be present at the Nordic Pavilion during the COP22 and will showcase its other ongoing demonstration project in Dubai, a 10-unit Stirling CSP park – a collaboration with DEWA, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, which is one of the leading developers, owners and operators of large, utility-scale solar power applications in the Middle East.

Cleanergy’s Stirling CSP solutions are optimised for high yield and long operating hours with low maintenance intervention; they are modular and scalable, robust and reliable. No water is consumed in the power production cycle, which is a key competitive advantage over other CSP technologies such as linear trough and tower systems, especially in areas of high ambient temperature where high levels of Direct Normal Irradiation (DNI) are usually to be found and water resources are usually scarce.

Cleanergy was founded 2008 and is a privately held, Swedish high-tech SME specialized in the supply of Stirling engine-based renewable energy solutions with 80+ employees and production facilities located in the heart of the Nordic automotive and aerospace clusters on the west-coast of Sweden. The Stirling engine is produced in a state-of-the-art assembly line. As part of production volume ramp-up, Cleanergy is transferring its assembly operation to an automotive production facility that was formerly owned and operated by Volvo cars.
