Håkan Östling new as Head of Institutional Services at Redeye

Håkan Östling, formerly top-rated Equity Analyst in Europe at Goldman Sachs, Global Head of Research at Danske Bank and Head of Sweden Markets & Nordic Equities at ABN AMRO, as well as fund manager, management consultant and junior league hockey coach, has been recruited as Head of Institutional Services at Redeye.

Redeye aims to transform investment banking by providing a digital platform, matching institutional and retail investors with prominent Technology and Life Science companies. The growth has been substantial, with Redeye Corporate Finance developing into the Nordic region’s leading financial advisor in the sectors. Redeye has executed more than 120 public equity transactions over the last five years and seven IPOs only during 2017.

The strong position in Sweden has been expanded with new clients in Denmark, Finland and Norway, resulting in more than 80 companies under equity analyst coverage. Another milestone in the global development was achieved in December 2017, when Redeye hosted its first event with US-based investors in New York.

The next step on Redeye’s journey is an increased focus on Institutional Services, a business area under fast expansion and with strong potential going forward. Håkan Östling, with several years of global merits from well-renowned financial institutions, will contribute with valuable knowledge and expertise. He is commencing the role as Head of Institutional Services promptly.
