Press release -

Norwegian local newspaper live on Roxen News Website

America East Media business and technology conference, Hershey, Pennsylvania April 4th, 2016

The Norwegian local newspaper Søgne og Songdalens Budstikke, in the Southwestern region of Vest-Agder, went live on Roxen Editorial Portal a month ago. Today, their new website was launched on the integrated, responsive web platform Roxen News Website.

With the choice of Roxen News Website in addition to the recently installed Roxen Editorial Portal, the newspaper now has a fully integrated solution for content production and publishing in all channels.

"The system integrates print and web, and is well-suited also for smaller newspapers. It saves us significant time in our day-to-day work, and we have gained more control over our content in all channels." says Roar V. Osmundsen Editor in chief at Søgne og Songdalens Budstikke.

Roxen News Website is a pre-configured version of Roxen CMS, tailored to the specific needs of local news media. "Since Roxen CMS is the underlying technology for Roxen News Website, the platform will facilitate growth and future functionality requirements," says Per Östlund, Roxen's CEO

The Roxen News Website has a broad range of relevant functionality already built-in, and can easily be adapted to individual design and layout requirements.

"Our new website has a layout that makes our product more consistent in both the print and the online channel." continues Mr. Osmundsen.

"Since our newspaper is part of Schibsted, I am very happy to have been allowed to move from the corporate platform to a solution that is more tailored to our needs", Mr. Osmundsen concludes.
