Back to a New Year

One month ago I was surrounded by lush rainforest in Australia where I spent four inspiring weeks. Now back in Sweden, that warm and humid climate is hard to imagine as the Swedish winter nears its end. My time in Australia let my brain catch up and gave time for me to reflect on the past year.

Travelling allows one to become immersed in new cultures and exposes you to new surroundings. It is something that not only expands my professional skills but allows me to improve as a person. It forces me to reflect on my design thinking. My ambition for this year is to start work with international clients and projects. This is one of the reasons that I am now going to write in English.

The three weeks since I have arrived home from Australia have been busy but awesome! I've been managing the last phase of production on a new public interior product I designed and am producing for a company. I joined a project for a top ranked design consultancy here in Sweden and last but not least, this year I will be working for a company designing products for professional cleaning with focus on environment, ergonomics and economics. Three important E's!
