Scandinavian Organics wins TASTE OF THE YEAR AWARD 2016

Scandinavian Organics has been awarded the prestigeous Taste of the Year At the annual White Guide gala held at the Roayl Opera House on March 7th. The prize, sponsored by the Swedish Food Federation, was presented to Scanorganics CEO Nils Wetterlind by Maria Söderqvist, CEO at the Swedish Food Federation.

The jury’s motivation;

Scandinavian Organics Taste of the Year Award 2016”For proving that owtherwise discarded raw materials become great tasting, innovative, nutritious foods like bone broth, soups, meatballs, ready meals and much more; for pioneering the use of end-of-lay chickens to make a variet of ready to eat dishes; for expanding this concept to include beef bones and otherwise discardedd vegetables. For inventing a wholr eange of Grab ’n Go drinks. Sustainable all the way!¨

The Prize ’Taste of the Year Award is awardedto the food company Priset Årets smakutvecklare i Livsmedelsbranschen delas ut till en which has created a great taste innovation both in taste andquality and therefore greatly contributed to Gastronomy.

The prize was instigated by the Swedish Food Federation in 2014 and the first winner was Findus Corporation.
