Scandinavian Photo Group AB acquires ProCenter Yrkesfotobutiken AB

Scandinavian Photo, the leading retailer of photographic and video products in the Nordic countries, acquires ProCenter Yrkesfotobutiken AB. The acquisition is part of the continued expansion to strengthen the customer offer and to deliver a full service solution.

For more than 20 years, ProCenter Yrkesfotobutiken AB have offered service and sale of photographic products to photographers and image buyers. ProCenter also offers rental service, support, and digital print studio. Scandinavian Photo acquires the operations as a part of the continued development of the customer offering.

- In a changing market, we realize that we need to grow and diversify our offer to be competitive. To be able to do that, Scandinavian Photo is the right partner, says Matias Ibanez, CEO of ProCenter. Scandinavian Photo has its target audience, logistics, marketing and sales channels in areas which today we can not reach. Together we can develop our common interests within several target groups and become the natural choice for anyone who works with photography and video.

- With ProCenter, we gain professional skills and will be able to strengthen our offer in areas such as pro, studio, rental service and “Fine Art” print service. ProCenter today has a significant production of “Fine Art” exhibitions and image production - an area we can develop further together, says Lars Bonander, CEO Scandinavian Photo.

ProCenter is acquired in September 2015 and will be Scandinavian Photo’s seventh store in the Nordic region.
