Revolutionary green technology replaces the popular but energy-guzzling carbon-filament lamps!

Recently, carbon-filament lamps (also known as the Edison lamps) have become very popular in decoration lighting due their beautiful shapes and warm, soft light. The carbon-filament lamp was the very first type of bulb and compared with modern light bulbs, not to speak of modern LED technology, they are extremely power-guzzling. The luminous efficacy of a carbon-filament lamp can be as low as 4 lumens per watt (lm/W), far below what the regulations stipulate. In fact, they can only be sold in Europe by exploiting a loophole in the law and categorizing them as ”special lamps”. So far there has been no alternative for those who want the beautiful filaments with the warm glow - Star Trading has now changed this!

Star Trading’s new LED lamps use modern technology in a unique format to mimic the classic carbon-filament lamps, as far as possible. These lamps offer a light output of over 60 lm/W, ie you get the same amount of light but reduce energy consumption by 95%! Meanwhile, the light is as warm and soft as the original with a color temperature of 2100 Kelvin. In addition to the lower consumption, the lifespan of the LED version is many times longer with life length of up to 25 000 hours and they don’t get hot like incandescent lamps do.
