StayAt and the environment.

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel - or Svanen Miljömärkning - was founded in 1989, when the Nordic Council of Ministers decided to help consumers make better choices for the environment. They started off by eco-labelling papers and batteries, and today you can find the Nordic Swan Ecolabel on tens of thousands of products and services, making it the one of the top eco-labels in the world. 

All StayAt hotels are since 2014 certificated by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. To control our environmental impact, we make continuous measurements of carbon emissions through Ecompter, and the results show that we emit up to 50 % less carbon dioxide in comparison to traditional hotels. Our next step is to become labelled by KRAV, which we hope to be sometime during the first half of 2017. The KRAV label indicates that a product or service is produced on organic basis with extra demands on animal welfare, health, social responsibility and environmental impact.
