Expanding your research with MAX IV and ESS

Sweden hosts two world leading accelerator-based research facilities and now could be the time to put them to work in your research.

During this breakfast seminar, Tomas Lundqvist, Life Science Director of MAX IV will explore the opportunities for academic and industrial use of the brightest X-ray source in the world and what that means for researchers in Stockholm. Esko Oksanen who leads the NMX instrument at ESS will also present an array of different instruments that will be available at ESS, utilising neutrons to probe biological systems and materials alike.

After this short introduction, we will hear three case studies from Stockholm based researchers from both academia and industry. They will explain how they use these facilities to help their research stand out.
