TCS and Posten Norge partner to successfully complete ONE-IT transition

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has successfully collaborated with Posten Norge to complete the latter’s ONE-IT transformation program. The objective of the initiative was to provide a better, centralized, and common IT Service Delivery function across all Posten’s subsidiaries. In the 18 month transformation process, TCS operated in the capacity of an application development and maintenance vendor - and also in the role of Transition Program Responsible, driving the transition program on behalf of Posten. The ONE-IT program was completed on time and budget.

The ONE-IT transition was an exceptionally complex program. Its scope ran from data center consolidation and the implementation of a new global service desk to transitioning of over a hundred applications. Furthermore, a new IT operating model was established. TCS, in its’ role as the Transition Program Responsible, successfully coordinated the transition with four vendors, and with a team consisting of 15 different nationalities, working together to achieve Posten’s objectives.
