TEDxÖstersund is emerging future

TEDxÖstersund is an event that will take place in the north part of Sweden for the first time. It is an independently organized event operated under a license from TED. A committed group of more than 30 people from the Östersund area get together and arrange the event on February 28th. The event theme is ”Emerging future” and this is what we believe in:

#WhereIcomefrom, true enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, motivated and committed people have chosen a life in the rural areas. We call this place home. We arepart of an emerging future to whom we want to show the world. We are the ones chasing the freedom to choose where we want to live and work. We embrace change and innovation with an open mind and we are the game changers who are here to stay.

– I´m in love with the people of Östersund! This group of people is so dedicated and together we are going to make TEDxÖstersund a great event. We are putting Östersund on the world map! says project manager and license holder Maria Svensson Wiklander.

The inspirational speakers are chosen to inspire the world about why we live here in these rural areas and what possibilities we are a part of. A presentation of the programme and the speakers will be revealed soon.
