Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. However, it does much more than meet basic physical needs. It also meets emotional, social, and psychological needs. It has different meanings can be seen as a means of survival, as a part of a culture or as a sign of hospitality. TEDxStockholm proudly announces the theme of their third salon of 2014; a deliciously brewed event which will feed the minds, hearts, and bodies of anyone involved.

The team of TEDxStockholm is pleased to invite you to their third salon event of 2014. You're welcome to attend the event at Summit on 16th of June, where they will share with you great talks delivered by people who will assure you that food is not just our daily sustenance but it’s all about health, love, and bringing people together!

TEDxStockholm welcomes you to join the speakers and guests to explore the significance of food as nourishment of our individual physical well being, as our comfort, source of inspiration and happiness, or as means of uniting a society and bonding in the language of this basic human need. After you've heard the speakers' inspired talks and viewed the selection of official TED videos, you are cordially invited to stay and mingle at the Summit venue, where you will get the chance to meet your like minded attendees, the TEDx team, and the amazing speakers.
