Global Service Technicians wanted!

The Telemar Group are World leaders in supplying solutions for communications and navigation to the Maritime industry.

Telemar Scandinavia AB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Telemar Group having offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmoe and Helsinki.

Currently, we are looking to reinforce our service department in the Gothenburg and Malmoe offices with global service technicians.

Our product ranges from RF equipment for communications to radio mechanical products for navigation. Our products are termed high grade equipments and as such demand a qualitative approach to the service provided by our personnel. The subsequent service of our products will not only include electrical/electronic competency but also a sound knowledge of IT as well as the regulatory aspects of the branch.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to our customers´ vessels, often at short notice, to investigate, rectify and guarantee functionality of our sold products. Due to the demands set, we consider the candidate to be highly resourceful and display a high degree of initiative in solving problems. A driving license is a foregone conclusion as well as a good fluency of the English language both spoken and written. When “back at base” the candidate will form part of our technical support as well as effect repairs/upgrades on our warehouse equipment.

As we are approved by all classification societies, the work involves a stringent routine and reporting knowledge as directed by IMO, MSC and ITU authorities.

Telemar provides communications solutions and as such the successful candidate will be required to contractually sign an agreement of professional secrecy to uphold our customers´ communications integrity.
