TextMinded® opens software development office in Hanoi

Aarhus 2015-03-17 — In a move to further strengthen its communications’ platform, MindLincs®, TextMinded® establishes a team of developers in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.

In a strategic move to help transform the translation and localisation industry from a provider of words to a communications’ platform partner, TextMinded® has established its own software production department in Hanoi.

“Vietnam is already well-known for its ability to produce excellent software developers, so when the opportunity arose, it was not difficult for us to choose Hanoi,” says TextMinded’s Chief Innovation Officer, Robert Etches. “Our team comprises experienced programmers and, coupled with two new full-time positions in Denmark, we are looking forward to introducing a new era of agile development at the company.”

Long known in Denmark for its ability for connecting know-how, TextMinded wishes now to up the ante. In the words of CEO Britta Aagaard: “Quite simply, we wish to empower everyone, everywhere to communicate anything to anyone in any language. As such, our new development team represents a modest, but very exciting first step towards building the platform we see as being the key to achieving this purpose. The Hanoi team has proved its worth from Day 1, which means MindLincs Dashboard I can be released already in April.”
