Launch of the Kokon Pod in Scandinavia - a stress reduction pod for happier workplaces

The Kokon launches multisensory chair to end chronic stress. On October 23-24, the Kokon pitched their sensory technology on the Startup Scene at the first ever Singularity University Summit in Copenhagen, where 1000 thinkers and doers come together to explore exponential technologies and their impact on society, business and individuals. The Kokon also featured their first product, the Kokon Pod.

The two female founders, Veronika Bartosch and Elinor Samuelsson, set out with the Kokon in 2016 to eradicate chronic stress and burnouts by combatting stress from its root cause. The Kokon helps innovative companies tackle stress from a bottom-up and top-bottom approach. First, by breaking the biological cycle of chronic stress using their Kokon Pod - a multi-sensory hanging chair that lower cortisol levels, entrain heart rate, slow breathing and boosts happy brain chemicals. Second, by identifying stress patterns within an organization using their Wellbeing Management KPIs - metrics to help managers make strategic decisions to better prevent burnout and help grow a corporate culture centered around wellbeing and self-actualization.
