2010-12-10 07:00 Idag, fredagen den 10 december, inleds 'Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge', som anses vara världens främsta multisportevenemang. Årets tävling lockar runt 50 lag med deltagare från över 20 länder. Varje lag består av fyra tävlande, varav minst en kvinna, som alla har sex dagars extremsport framför sig. Extremsport som ska utövas i Abu Dhabis karga ökenlandskap.

Reaching 2nd place in the prologue, 3rd on day 1, 2nd on day 2 and 1st place on the last day, Thule Adventure Team ended up as 2nd team in total.
2011-01-21 12:00 Adventure racing fans in the U.S. can get their fix this weekend when NBC kicks off a new season of The World of Adventure Sports with coverage of the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge which took place in the United Arab Emirates back in early December. The program will air from 3-4 PM EST on this Sunday and will also feature segments on rally cross, snowboarding, and more.

The high winds that sprung up during the early hours of the morning and the subsequent heavy seas forced the race directors to cancel the first day of the 129km sea-kayaking section to Abu Dhabi, slated to start at 06:30.
