IN THE PINK

Brighter days call for brighter hair, and what better way to celebrate the long hazy summer than with a striking new hair colour? Whether you’re having a chilled poolside holiday or hitting the festival circuit, make a statement with this season’s muted shade of dusty pink.

L’Oréal Professionnel’s new Blushed Blonde is created with the new #COLORFULHAIR range, comprised of eight bold hues. Blush is the ultimate sunshine-season shade, and is already a firm favourite with celebrities, having been spotted all over social media. The colour service infuses hair with a hint of pearlescent rose blush – a sophisticated alternative to the bold fuschia tints that dominated last year. This colour process combines textured layers of pastel pink and peach with light-catching, glittering metallic highlights that work in harmony to leave hair delicately shimmering in the sunlight. This colour result works well with all skintones to achieve a universally flattering finish.

Siobhan Golden, International Technical Art Director

‘This look is perfect for summer because it warms up your complexion and gives you a gorgeous, healthy glow,’ says Toni&Guy International Technical Art Director Siobhan Golden, who worked alongside Toni&Guy Educator and Style Director Fotis Sfetas to conjure up the dreamy candyfloss colour on influencer Florence Rose. ‘It’s low-maintenance as it fades out very softly,’ Siobhan adds. Trial the trend on the ends of grown-out Balayage for a subtle, illuminated finish. Pink is the new blonde – this season, prepare to blush.
