Premiere at the Royal Opera as UnitedLog launches its new Year Book

For the sixth year in a row UnitedLog now presents its popular year book. The book includes the latest trends and analyzes in Operations Management and Logistics. The articles are supplemented with real-world examples where UnitedLog and its customers show how companies by achieving better control over their global supply chain, manage to increase profitability.

This year the launch is taking place at the Royal Opera in Stockholm on March 9th. The location is selected considering the book's theme, "Setting the stage" which highlights the importance that today's companies, like a well performed opera, must prepare very carefully if they are to successfully capture the audience. The challenge lies among others in that all details must be in place, on time and with the precision needed to really put together the complex picture. Actors, makeup artists, dancers, directors, stagehands and all other members, must all have the right skills, doing the right things with both passion and empathy for the show to be successful.

The same is true in the world of business. In our globalized world of cutthroat competition, it becomes increasingly clear that competitiveness is all about preparing and putting together a winning team. The strongest are those who have the ability to constantly improve and innovate.

Also this year the book’s target audience is both management teams in global companies as well as the interested layman who wants to learn more about how logistics affect our everyday life.

The launch is co-hosted by the management consulting firm Capacent, with whom UnitedLog has developed a close working relationship. The book is part of UnitedLog's service and information concept and it is free of charge for our customers.
