Sports retail giant Stadium investing in climate-friendly transportation with UnitedLog

Stadium, along with UnitedLog has found a new climate smarter option for shipments from producers in Europe to the central warehouse in Norrköping. The mode of transport is intermodal and environmental savings are significant, as much as 80% less environmental impact compared to road transport.

For us at the Stadium, it is important that everyone has access to an active life in a healthy environment.
Therefore we regard it as an obvious obligation that all our activities take place with as little environmental impact as possible no matter where in the world that we or our suppliers are active. We shall restrict our environmental impact of transport as much as possible. It is a requirement that all cargo that we buy are carried out by certified carriers.

UnitedLog intermodal solution provides us with a lower environmental impact at a lower cost compared to previously when we transported by truck, so it is win-win in all directions, says Daniel Johansson, Logistics Manager at Stadium.
