Medical technology company Getinge consists of three business areas: Medical Systems (surgery and intensive care), Infection Control (disinfection and sterilization) and Extended Care (care ergonomics). The Group is market leader in most of its product lines with sales of more than SEK 22 billion and with 12 100 employees globally.
The largest business area, Getinge Infection Control, is working on solutions to prevent the emergence and spread of infection in health care and pharmaceutical industries. Customers include sterilization centers, health centers and elderly care centers as well as research laboratories and pharmaceutical industries. The products are marketed under the brands Getinge and Lancer.
Getinge Infection Control has chosen UnitedLog as a partner to develop the management and control of the global logistics flow by increasing the visibility of goods, information and financial flows. The collaboration project will be an important part of Getinge's ongoing consolidation and standardization efforts.
