UNIVERSAL SONY PICTURES HOME ENTERTAINMENT NORDIC STARTS DISTRIBUTION IN THE BALTICS
April 1, 2016 – Stockholm, Sweden – Starting from April 1, 2016, Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nordic will take over the physical home entertainment distribution in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The new agreement gives Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nordic distribution rights for 7 countries in total, including Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
“This represents a significant step forward for us, and we look forward to start working closer with our partners in the Baltic region. The Baltic territory is an interesting market, and we are confident there are strong synergy effects between operating in the Nordic and the Baltic business place, so this is very exciting for us,” says Örjan Olsson, Nordic General Manager.
