Niklas Marschall of Danish State Railways (DSB) to join Unwire as Chief Commercial Officer

Niklas Marschall, formerly DSB’s Sales and Marketing Vice President, will be joining Unwire as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) from February 17th 2013. As CCO, Niklas will be responsible for Sales, Pre-Sales and Marketing in Unwire and will have a strong focus on securing future growth for Unwire.

Prior to DSB, Niklas spent six years at Telia, one of Denmark’s leading mobile network operators, as Product Offering and Marketing Director.

Niklas brings a wealth of experience within public transport and telcos to Unwire, as well as over five years of experience with marketing and sales. He was the driving force behind mobile ticketing and mobile payments in DSB, and he is known throughout Scandinavia for his forward thinking in regards to the integration of mobile payment solutions in transportation.

Unwire approached Niklas upon hearing that he was leaving DSB. “When I heard that he was leaving DSB, I just had to get in touch and hear about his future plans,” says Gregor, “His experience and his innovative way of thinking are perfect for Unwire’s mission, and we’re lucky to have him.”
