Biobanks are becoming an important resource in research and in treating individual patients. Patient samples are valuable resources that must be dealt with in a secure and efficient manner to provide material for as many studies as possible. The research team aims to develop a method for automatic extraction of DNA and RNA and to create a single flow of sample handling that can be quality assured.
