​New national BIO-X call released: Diagnostic solutions for disease monitoring

The BIO-X call” Diagnostic solutions for disease monitoring” opens 22 September and closes on 9 November. The key focus is on reducing the impact of a disease or injury that has already occurred.

BIO-X funds, supports and drives the development of new life science-based product proposals to proof of concept stage – the critical first step on their way to fulfilling clearly-defined healthcare and society needs.

The Call “New diagnostic solutions for disease monitoring” is open for applicants affiliated with an SME (small-to-medium enterprise) and applications in all areas of disease except cancer are accepted. The proposals should focus on diagnostic solutions that prevents patients from relapse or shows how they are responding to a particular treatment or care regimen, and if that regime needs adjusting.
