Professor Minematsu

There are many aspects of dialectology. An ever more important contribution to the understanding is that from speech technology. Verified is happy to have hosted a seminar by professor Minematsu of the Graduate School of Engineering, Department of Information and Communication Engineering. Topics covered included speaker invariance, distance metrics for distributions of realisations and accent clustering. We all look forward to the exciting development of the findings and ideas presented. Professor Minematsu has now left for Gothenburg and the Slate 2017, were he is on the reviewing board.
