Led Zeppelin fortsätter amibitiöst återutgivningsprojekt
Led Zeppelin fortsätter sitt ambitiösa återutgivningsprojekt och släpper albumen Led Zeppelin IV & Houses Of The Holy i flera olika format tillsammans med tidigare outgivet material. Och precis som när Led Zeppelin I, II & III släpptes i början av juni är dessa nymastrade av Jimmy Page, bandets gitarrist och producent.
Led Zeppelin IV släpptes i november 1971 och blev bandets största artistiska och kommersiella framgång hittills. Albumet som bl a innehåller ”Stairway to heaven”, ”Rock and roll”, ”Black dog” & ”When the levee breaks” har sålt smått osannolika 23 x platina och är den tredje mest sålda plattan i USA någonsin.
Houses Of The Holy toppade listorna 1973 och innehåller låtar som ”The song remains the same”, “Over the hills and far away”, “D’yer Mak’er”, “No quarter” och har fram till idag sålt i över 11 miljoner exemplar.
När Led Zeppelin I, II & III återutgavs i juni i år gick alla tre albumen, i tur och ordning, in # 11, # 13 & # 14 på den svenska topplistan.
Led Zeppelin IV & Houses Of The Holy släpps 27/10 på Atlantic/Swan Song
