Book "Arbitration in Sweden" Soon Available in Russian

Russian speakers will be able to learn about arbitral proceedings in Sweden in their own language.

In 2011 the Swedish Arbitration Association (SAA) with the endorsement of the SCC published "Arbitration in Sweden," a book providing a concise analysis and description in English of Swedish international arbitration law. Arbitration in Sweden, written by Fredrik Andersson (Mannheimer Swartling), Therese Isaksson (Lindahl), Marcus Johansson (Gernandt & Danielsson), Ola Nilsson(White & Case) and edited by Supreme Court Justice Johnny Herre, has become a reference work for arbitrators, counsel and other professionals acting in Swedish international arbitral proceedings.

Due to the role of Sweden as preferred venue for resolution of international commercial disputes involving parties from CIS countries, the SAA and SCC have now united forces to translate Arbitration in Sweden into Russian. SCC legal counsel, Natalia Petrik is the leader of this project and the law firms Gernandt & Danielsson, Lindahl, Mannheimer Swartling and White & Case will put their Russian expertise at service by collaborating with the translations.

The translation of the book will be ready by the end of the year and it is expected that by the first half of 2014, 2000 copies of Arbitration in Sweden will be printed and distributed in Russia.

Those interested in ordering the book should send a request by e-mail to Natalia Petrik to: Natalia.Petrik@chamber.se
