Vuzix signs partner agreement with XMReality to expand its offering with XMReality Remote Guidance™, a leading tool for AR-enabled knowledge sharing

Linköping, Sweden—XMReality AB (publ) (NASDAQ First North: XMR), an international leader in AR-enabled knowledge sharing, announced signing a partner agreement with Vuzix, a leading developer of smart glasses, headquartered in West Henrietta, NY, USA. The agreement means that XMReality Remote Guidance will be available to a broader user base and it’s a part of the company’s strategy to build an international digital eco system.

XMReality Remote Guidance is now available on Vuzix’ Smart Glasses. The AR-solution enables remote guidance and includes:

  • Knowledge sharing using gestures, speech, chat, pointers, still images with someone at a completely different place.
  • A unique hands-overlay technology that lets you guide some else’s hands—as if you were there.
  • A web portal to manage teams and users, and to measure usage
  • Integration through client API’s

“One of the features in XMReality 6.2 that were released on April 24th includes an enhanced user interface for smart glasses. For instance, it is now possible to speed up the log in process by using a QR-code generated from the software.
